Fishing was added in Eon 1-7. Walk to water until the Fish button appears. The spot name shows on that panel.
The minigame
- Press Fish and wait. Messages appear while the bait sits. Do not reel before the bite.
- When the reel UI opens, keep the tip of the blue bar inside the green zone.
- The white bar fills while you stay in the green. A red line sits near the end. You need the white bar above that line when the minigame ends.
- Sell the catch for Fish Points.
An expansion video, from before the current Radiant Forest title, shows a later change: easy and hard difficulties removed, everything on a medium reel, a sell-all button, two small islands, the fish shop moved closer to spawn, and 10 new fish. A written fishing page lists 56 species. Use the in-game collection as the count. Sharko is called the heaviest Legendary in the written guide. Sea Pearl and Abyssal Sea Pearl sit outside the normal rarity ladder.
Value
Weight × rarity multiplier × mutation multiplier, rounded to the nearest Fish Point.
| Rarity | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| Common | 1x |
| Uncommon | 1.5x |
| Rare | 2x |
| Legendary | 2.5x |
Mutations follow the active biome. Ruffled, Crusted, and Slick are 1.5x. Rough is 2x. Charred is 2.5x. Shimmering is 3x. Tainted is 3.5x. Hollow is 4x. Lucid is 4.5x. Fragmented is 5x. The full list is under Fish mutations.
A 15 kg Spinepuff with Ruffled is 15 × 2 × 1.5 = 45 Fish Points if that fish's rarity multiplier is the Rare 2x used in the worked example.
What to buy
Lucky Potion and Speed Potion are 25 Fish Points each. Heavenly Potion needs 250 Lucky Potions at the cauldron, so fishing is a supply line for that brew rather than a direct aura method. Quest-board tasks for catching trash, common, uncommon, or rare fish have been added; their rewards were described as changing when new fishing items arrive, so read the board in game.
